Gracia is a district of Barcelona ideal for renting an apartment;
it’s full of life with lots of bars, restaurants and welcoming squares where
anybody can take advantage of the sun on the nice terraces. The Plaza del
Sol and Plaza Virreina that surround an XVIIth century church are
especially nice; they’re characterized by a bohemian and liberal atmosphere
within this picturesque neighbourhood.
In the upper side of Gracia you can find the great Parc
Güell created by Gaudi, it’s a spectacular garden-terrace with an
incredible view of the city and it will surprise you at every step.
The Paseo de Gracia and the Diagonal are
only a few minutes away walking, and the Plaza Cataluña and Ramblas
only a few minutes away by metro.
The Gracia celebrations in Barcelona take place at the end of august;
those festivities are famous for the many colourful representations held and
the original street decorations that the neighbours created.
Gracia is the ideal place for those who want to rent
an apartment in the centre but not too close to the boisterous old town.
