Zones of Barcelona: Raval-Ramblas

The Raval district, delimited by the Ramblas and the Paralelo Avenue, is a traditionally popular and rambunctious neighbourhood where great apartments for rent can be found.

Renovated during the last decade, the Raval hosts innovative cultural centres like the MACBA and the CCCB that help cultural encounters and exchanges, but there’s also a great variety of restaurants, shops and bars.

The Ramblas represent without a doubt the most known walk of Barcelona since the visitor who strolls along its two kilometres has the opportunity to see a never-ending line of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes but also to admire emblematic buildings such as the Teatro Liceu (Barcelona’s opera), the Boquería market or the Plaza Real.

The Ramblas start with the Plaza Cataluña and end with the Columbus monument facing the port. To rent an apartment in this area is to be the closest to the authentic Barcelona.

The Raval stands out for its multiculturalism and animation and gives the opportunity to the visitor to experience the most boisterous and roguish Barcelona.
